Taylor arrest shocks Hudson Valley residents
Accusations of rape against Lawrence Taylor today sent shock waves through the Hudson Valley golf courses the former NFL great was known to frequent.
At the Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, many people said they were surprised to hear about the charges.
"I've met him several times and it really wouldn't be fair to [judge] him or fair to anybody without knowing what happened exactly," said Robert Handler, who plays golf at the club.
