Bronxville High School started its squash program in 2008, and over the past two years it managed to transform the little-known sport going back to the 1500s into a hit.
The Bronxville Broncos are being coached by Gamal Amir, a native of Egypt who at one point was the top squash player in the world.
Amir now has the Broncos competing in the Fairwest Squash Association, which has the long-term goal of expanding the league into more public schools throughout the Northeast.
