The Valhalla baseball team won its program?s first-ever state championship over the weekend.
Valhalla beat Immaculate Heart Central 2-0 to win the Section 3 championship.
The game was won by superb pitching by Jordan Holtz and great offensive work by Mark Demillo, who drove in the game-winning RBI double.
Team members say they are ecstatic they were the first in their school to win it.
