CORTLANDT MANOR - Westchester County police have arrested and charged a 14-year-old boy with calling in a fake bomb threat into schools earlier this week.

The arrest follows Monday's evacuation of Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt and Lakeland High in Shrub Oak.

Police say separate calls were made to each school claiming the buildings would "blow up."

Police and the county bomb squad conducted a sweep of the two high schools and found nothing.
