PUTNAM - The alleged victim testified today in the rape trial of Putnam personal trainer Alexandru Hossu.
The girl, who was 13 at the time of the alleged rape and is now 16, was emotional at times when discussing her relationship with Alexandru Hossu, who was her mother's live-in boyfriend. He was also the former live-in trainer of Putnam County District Attorney Adam Levy.
In court, the prosecutor played a secretly recorded conversation between Hossu and the girl. During the call, she tries to get him to discuss the alleged assault but he vehemently denies that anything ever happened.

Under cross-examination, the accuser did admit that one reason she resented Hossu is because her mother spent more time with him than she did with her and her brother.
The cross-examination will continue Thursday.
