Criminal charges could be filed against a mother in Dutchess County after a fight between two students at Arlington High School that was allegedly instigated by the woman.  

Arlington school officials say the student’s mother wore a backpack to blend in with teens as they arrived for class Tuesday morning. 

The mother was seen on surveillance video standing next to her daughter and another student, allegedly using vulgar language, as the two teens fought before first period. 

School officials say the incident has prompted the district to examine their security protocol and that the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
