The owner of a Middletown wig store says 15 wigs were stolen after his shop was broken into yesterday morning.

Kevin Spencer, owner of Mane Ideas, says the stolen wigs were some of the most expensive in the shop.

"I deal with a lot of women who have cancer, alopecia lupus and different hair diseases, so we specialize in getting those wigs in for the [American] Cancer Society and dealing with those women's needs," Spencer says.

Spencer says the break-in has cost him thousands of dollars and he hopes police catch whoever is responsible.
