A Torrington man is facing prison time for the death of a baby left in his care.
Court officials say Alex Ciccarelli-Rosa pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the drowning of 15-month-old Evan Standish in June of last year.
Police say he was babysitting when the child drank from his rum and coke.
He then put the child in the tub to revive him, but the toddler slipped under the water and died.
Ciccarelli-Rosa is facing ten years in prison.
