YONKERS - An accident involving a tractor-trailer on the southbound side of the Tappan Zee Bridge slowed down traffic Monday afternoon on the span.

State police say the trailer was hauling bags of salt when it buckled.

They say the tractor became disabled by either the weight of the bags of salt or the bags moving around.

No one was hurt in the accident.
