WEST NYACK - A collision between a tractor-trailer and an SUV snarled traffic northbound on I-87 in Rockland County Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at around 5:30 p.m. near the Palisades Mall.

State police tell News 12 that a woman driving a Subaru lost control on the ramp and t-boned the tractor-trailer, which was traveling in the middle lane. Both drivers were not seriously injured in the crash.

The collision caused the truck's gas tank to rupture and about 40 gallons of fuel spilled onto the road.

The accident has since been cleared.
