The trial for the man involved in a fatal crash in Warwick began in an Orange County court Tuesday. It's been six months since 20-year-old Richard Rudy of Pine Island died in the crash. This week, the Rudy family is sitting through the trial of Adam Moghaddam. Rudy was a passenger in Moghaddam?s car when it crashed into another car on Route 1 in September 2005. The 20-year-old is facing charges of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide for Rudy?s death. Two Warwick police officers and one doctor were among the latest witnesses to take the stand. The jury has yet to hear from the defense, which is expected in the days to come.
