Urgent care facility opens in White Plains

WHITE PLAINS - There's a new health care facility in White Plains that could help people avoid a trip to the emergency room.

Dozens gathered last night to celebrate the grand opening of Forme Urgent Care and Wellness Center. The facility on South Broadway offers a number of special services including pulmonology, urology and pain management.

The president of the company says patients will be able to feel more comfortable in a smaller setting, compared to big health facilities in the area. "I don't want to scare anyone when I say boutique health care, because it's open to everybody. The truth is all we want to do is get the public healthy. So at the end of the day when you're not feeling well we will make sure everything is followed up with them," says Gina Cappelli.

Forme accepts all health insurance and will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
