Vanderhoef relects on state Senate loss
Rockland County Executive Scott Vanderhoef spoke out yesterday after losing a hard-fought race for state Senate.
Vanderhoef says he will refocus his energy on Rockland County after being edged out by Democratic Town Clerk David Carlucci, who the county executive concedes ran an aggressive and energetic campaign for the state Senate's 38th District seat.
Vanderhoef has been county executive for 17 years and also previously ran for the House of Representatives in 2002.
