The victims of a DWI crash in Rockland say they are upset that the man behind the wheel has been arrested for driving drunk in the past. The latest accident happened Saturday night along North Main Street and Old Schoolhouse Road in New Hempstead. Gina Burch, 14, says she doesn't remember much about the car accident that left her in a lot of pain and almost unable to speak. Police say 53-year-old Karl Gutenberger, of New City, was drunk when his car smashed the Ford Taurus Burch was riding in. Gutenberger has been arrested for driving drunk three other times; the last arrest was just last month. Don Oliveri, who lives near the crash site, says Gutenberger's car was going the wrong way at the time of the accident.
