Friends are continuing to mourn a 14-year-old boy who was stabbed to death as school let out on Wednesday. 

Dozens gathered Thursday night to light candles and hold a moment of silence for Timothy Crump, who was killed outside I.S. 117 in Mount Hope. 

Police have arrested fellow Noel Estevez, also 14, for allegedly stabbing Crump multiple times in the stomach. 

According to an attorney for Estevez, the suspect was the victim of constant bullying and was only defending himself. However, those who knew Crump say he was not a bully and claim that Esteves had recently stolen his phone. 

The Bronx District Attorney's Office says Estevez gave officers a note confessing to the stabbing.

Estevez is being charged as an adult with second-degree murder and manslaughter. He is due back in court June 24.
