Volunteers hard at work on 'Extreme Makeover' home
Hundreds of volunteers are pitching in with crews from the ABC reality show 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,' hoping to finish a new home for a Crawford family in time for the big reveal on Thursday.
The Korpai family was selected by the TV show to receive a new home after Jimmy Korpai applied to be on the program. The Korpai family's 5-year-old daughter, Hailey, has a form of dwarfism, and the family's former home couldn't accommodate her special needs.
"This project will be able to help her live her life," said volunteer Regina Onesty. A learning center is also being built to educate others on dwarfism.
An estimated 600 volunteers are working on the home. The Korpai family's story will be aired on ABC this fall.
