Voters in White Plains are heading to the polls today for a special election to pick the city's new mayor.
The candidates include acting Mayor Tom Roach (D), former New York Giants football player Bob Hyland (R) and Glen Hockley (I).
"I'll do what I've done since I've been on the council, and since becoming acting mayor," Roach said. "Work as hard as I can."
The special election is being held to replace former White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley, who resigned in January amidst a domestic violence scandal. Polls will be open until 9 p.m.
