A West Nyack business was surprised to find a package of pot delivered by FedEx.
According to police, 40 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $120,000 was delivered to the business from Georgia in late February. Police say the contents were placed in plastic freezer bags and wrapped in dryer sheets in an attempt to cover the smell. A few days later another package from the same address was shipped to the business. Police say in both cases the delivery was addressed to a fictitious name.
Clarkstown police are working with authorities in Georgia and FedEx to try and figure out where the marijuana came from and who it was intended for.
