Pharmacists are now in such short supply that Walgreens is taking big steps to attract those that are out there.
The drug store chain is now offering signing bonuses of up to $75,000.
While Walgreens has not confirmed that number, people familiar with the matter shared that.
They say new pharmacists can expect less than $50,000 annually.
This move by Walgreens really illustrates just how in short supply pharmacists are right now and what steps other companies might take too.
Pharmacists who receive the signing bonus can expect a requirement to commit to the job for at least a year.
