Police found a stash of weapons, ammunition and drugs at a house in Goshen and say the resident is now on the run.
According to police, they responded to Middle Street on Monday after a neighbor said their window was shot out. After investigating, Goshen police arrested 22-year-old Sean Weissert of Middletown, who they say accidentally fired a round from an AK 47 rifle belonging to Shane Miller, 23. They also found 23 other long guns, nine handguns, and 1,000 rounds of ammunition, knives, bayonets, plus $600 worth of heroin and some marijuana.
Police are asking anyone who sees Miller to call 911 or contact the Goshen Police Department at 845-294-7988. Authorities warn that Miller may be armed.
