NYACK - While the Hudson Valley once again only received a glancing blow from a snowstorm, it won't escape a rush of arctic air over the next few days.

News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says that it is possible for snow flurries to be scattered across the region for much of the day today. He says there could be some moderate to heavy bursts that could put a coating of accumulation on the road and make roads slippery.

Temperatures though will start falling over the next few days as cold air rushes in behind the snow. Van Eck says that high temperatures will be in the mid-20s on Thursday and Friday, and only in the teens on Saturday and Sunday. Wind chill temperatures, however, could make it feel like it is 15 below zero, making it dangerous to be outside.

In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for southern Westchester County though this afternoon with high tides up to two feet above normal.
