West Nyack pharmacy employee accused of stealing oxycontin pills
A West Nyack pharmacy technician has been arrested for allegedly stealing drugs after the incident was caught on tape. Police say Shakera Franklin, 24, stole thousands of dollars worth of oxycontin pills from the ShopRite on Route 59 in West Nyack. She now faces grand larceny and drug charges. According to police, security caught Franklin swiping the drugs after hundreds of pills disappeared in the weeks prior.
