A senior cadet at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point has been charged with raping two former female cadets Friday.
Lonnie Story, who is from Montana, is accused of sexually assaulting the two women while he was on leave from the academy. Police say the two separate incidents occurred in January and October of last year. Military police say the women involved in the charges are former cadets who did not graduate from the academy. They were no longer cadets at the time of the alleged rapes.
A full investigation is underway to determine if the case should go to a court-martial. Story will continue to perform his obligations and duties as a senior at the military academy as the investigation continues.
