The Westport Garden Club hosted its annual plant sale Friday.
The sale at Jesup Green offered over 1,000 plants from Connecticut native plants to rose bushes and tomato plants.
Club members were on hand to offer advice to customers.
The club is celebrating its 98th anniversary this year.
"The money we raise here goes to funding the civics projects that the club maintains around town. There's several public gardens, we also support some environmental causes as well, and help provide scholarships to the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut scholarship fund," said Kelle Ruden, publicity chair of the Westport Garden Club.
They also promoted Westport's Pollinator Pathway Project, which educates the public about the plants that are beneficial to birds, insects and bees.
