A couple of Ramapo police officers came to the rescue of a cat that was stuck inside a car on Tuesday.
Police say they received a call saying that a pet cat had slipped away from her owners in the Walmart parking lot and crawled into the engine compartment of a vehicle.
Officers on scene were able to locate the owner of the vehicle in the store who assisted by opening the hood.
Officers Lenihan and Dodrill were able to safely retrieve the cat and return her to her grateful owners.
