White Plains woman pleads guilty to deadly drunken driving crash
A White Plains woman has admitted to causing a deadly crash while driving drunk and high.
On Tuesday, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino Jr. says that Michelle Bonet, 43, pleaded guilty to killing an elderly couple after slamming head-on into their car last year in Greenburgh.
As News 12 has reported, Bonet had a blood alcohol level of more than three times the legal limit and tested positive for Valium after the crash.
Bonet is due back in court for sentencing on  Aug. 1 and faces up to 25 years in state prison.
