The latest winter storm spared much of Westchester County Wednesday.
In northern suburbs like Bedford Hills, there was only about an inch of accumulation.
It was the same scene farther north in Somers, with just light snow falling.
Plows were out doing some clearing but mostly sanding slick roadways.

Residents had mixed reactions about many schools being closed in the area. Some thought there wasn't enough snow to justify closing school, while others said they made the best decision with the information they had at the time.
