YONKERS - A woman is in critical condition after losing control of her car and crashing in the driveway of a Yonkers home.

It happened just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Midland Avenue.

The woman was heading west when she apparently spun out of control and slammed into a parked car in the driveway of a home near Noble Avenue, her car landing on its side.

Yonkers police, fire officials and EMS rushed to the scene, where the woman received CPR. The extent of her injuries or what caused her to lose control has not yet been released.

It’s not yet clear if drugs or alcohol were involved with the crash.

Neighbors told News 12 that their stretch of road includes a sharp turn that can be dangerous.

No other injuries were reported.
