Woman hit by stray bullet near 290 Woodworth Ave. in Yonkers

A woman was struck by a stray bullet Saturday night in Yonkers. Police say two men had gotten into an argument near 290 Woodworth Ave.

YONKERS - A woman was struck by a stray bullet Saturday night in Yonkers.

Police say two men had gotten into an argument near  290 Woodworth Ave. at around 10 p.m.

One of them pulled out a gun and started firing. Authorities say a stray bullet hit the woman in the leg.

Police say they found the victim inside an apartment in the building after someone called 911.

The victim was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment. Officials expect her to be OK.

Police continue to search for the gunman.
