One local woman is warning about the dangers of dogs after an Airmont woman was killed in a weekend dog attack.On Saturday, 45-year-old Jeanine Fusco was mauled to death by a pit bull at her home. Fusco's sister, Valerie Wall, also suffered a bite wound to her leg. Police were forced to shoot the animal after it was found down the street. Four years ago, Kerry Potter-Kotecki?s 5-year-old daughter Hailey was mauled by her neighbor?s dogs. Potter-Kotecki says Doggone Safe, dedicated to dog bite prevention and education, has helped her heal. Now, she teaches the program?s techniques.
