Woodbury, Newburgh towns implement Halloween curfews for safety

Towns across the Hudson Valley have implemented curfews for Halloween.

When it comes to trick-or-treating some towns in the Hudson Valley have implemented curfews to keep kids and adults safe.
Police in the Town of Woodbury say the curfew will be in effect Oct. 30 and 31.
The curfew states that it's unlawful for any kid under 18 to be out and about between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. unless they are with a parent or guardian.
In the Town of Newburgh, a curfew goes into effect starting today. It will be in effect for trick-or-treating from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Oct. 31.
