NASA is getting ready to launch the Orion space capsule in December.
While there won't be any people inside the capsule, the launch will be a big step in testing a new vehicle for a possible future mission to Mars. The first manned mission for Orion would take place in 2017.
News 12 The Bronx asked viewers what they think about NASA trying to land people on the red planet. Most people agreed that it would be a good thing to have a manned mission to Mars.
Some added that the United States has made a lot of advancements due to space missions, and this would help develop our country even further.
