Yonkers hospital drills staff on Ebola
A Yonkers hospital is making sure its staff is prepared to handle any Ebola outbreak.
Emergency Medical Technicians from Empress Ambulance and the staff at Saint Joseph's Medical Center conducted an Ebola drill.
The team practiced how to transport a patient to an isolation unit without exposing the patient to others.
These training drills are part of a new state mandate requiring hospitals to practice them at least once a month.
