With the Mega Millions jackpot nearing $1 billion, Hudson Valley residents are thinking about what they would do with the money.
The jackpot is now $970 million, the second-highest it has ever been.
Players stepped out of Yonkers Grocery & Convenience Store with confidence that they could win the big prize.
Store owner Sammy Solanki says they have been selling a lot of tickets over the past week.
Some said they would take care of their family, either through shoring up finances or just going on vacation.
Others say they would take up a lavish lifestyle.
The next drawing takes place Friday night.
