2 tennis instructors working at Westchester Turf and Tennis test positive for COVID-19

Two tennis instructors who were working at Westchester Turf and Tennis in Hawthorne have tested positive for COVID-19.
News 12 is told the instructors are from another academy that leases the facility's space.
An owner at Westchester Turf and Tennis tells News 12 he found out on Tuesday and everyone was contacted by Wednesday.
He says one other player at the facility who is not associated with the tennis group also tested positive.
The facility was sanitized the next day. It will also be sanitized again on Saturday as a precaution.
"I just really think this is an isolated incident. We have been extremely cautious throughout the whole pandemic. We have a lot of people coming in there to play sports in small groups and we have been very careful, and this is our first case in over six months," says Mike Friedlander, co-owner of Westchester Turf and Tennis.
News 12 reached out to the independent tennis academy that leases the space but didn't receive a response.
