Bill banning concealed carry proposed in Nassau County

A bill banning concealed carry in certain Nassau County areas has been proposed.
According to Legislator Josh Lafazan, it would ban concealed carry guns on all county properties, parks, beaches and public transit systems.
It would also prevent concealed carriers from entering Nassau Community College's campus.
Lafazan says the elimination of "good cause" for concealed carry would make residents less safe and that the legislation would keep Nassau County residents safe.
These bills could be taken up for a vote by the Nassau Legislature next month.
