HEAT ALERT: Late night showers lead to hot weather for rest of workweek

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says to expect showers overnight into Thursday morning. The next chance for rain will be Sunday after a hot and humid Saturday.
Overnight: Increasing clouds with showers developing late, lows from the mid to upper-50s.
Thursday: Showers early, sun and clouds by the afternoon, highs from the low to mid-70s.
Friday: Sun and clouds, highs from the mid-70s to the low-80s.
Saturday: Hot and humid, sun and clouds, highs from the mid-80s to the low-90s. Record high of 93 set in 1996.
Saturday Night: A warm and humid night under a partly cloudy sky, lows from the low to mid-70s.
Sunday: Sun and clouds, warm and humid, chance of afternoon showers and storms, highs from the mid to upper-80s.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of evening showers, lows from the upper-50s to the mid-60s.
Monday: A cooler day under a mostly cloudy sky, highs from the upper-60s to the low-70s.
