A Middletown man who previously served prison time in connection with the 2017 killing of a teenager has been rearrested.

Police say Juwan Dolson was spotted Friday night in Ellenville, Ulster County, by an off-duty Middletown police detective as he walked toward the Village Motel.

Dolson was wanted on a charge of second-degree conspiracy, and an arrest warrant had been issued.

Dolson was on parole after serving time for attempted murder related to the 2017 shooting death of 19-year-old Coree White on Wallkill Avenue, which authorities linked to the “Coke Wave” gang.

He pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2018.

Police have not said what specific crime Dolson is accused of conspiring to commit in the latest case.
