The NYPD is searching for a Honda sedan in connection to a shooting in Wakefield, police sources say.

Police received a call for shots fired at 4226 White Plains Road just after 2 p.m. Monday.

The NYPD canvassed hospitals for victims and discovered a 23-year-old man at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut.

The 23-year-old was shot once in the buttocks and is expected to recover.

Police say the shooter fled in the gray Honda sedan.

No arrests have been made.
