Just under 3,000 people across the Hudson Valley are still without power as of 8 p.m. Friday.

Just under 3,000 people across the Hudson Valley are still without power, as of 10 p.m. Friday.
The number is down from around 26,000 at one point on Thursday.
The hardest hit area was Westchester County.
Rockland County also had reported thousands of outages, but the power has been restored.
Power has been also been restored to residents in Putnam and Ulster counties.
