Patchogue Theater hosts 3rd annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration

The third annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration took place Friday night at the Patchogue Theater.
The event is the largest Hispanic Heritage celebration on Long Island, which sold out the 1,100-seat theater.
Organizers said the event was open to everyone.
"This is an all inclusive event. Basically, that means that this is for non-Latinos as well. It's important for me to have non-Latinos in here so that we can all get to know each other and celebrate our diversity," said Javier Kinghorn, chair of the Latino Leadership Council of the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce.
The Latino community makes up about one third of Patchogue's residents.
