WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Thanksgiving has come and gone, but in the wake of Thursday's storm system has been a surge of colder air moving in. It will continue to do so through the weekend and hang around for the first two weeks of December.

Breezy to windy conditions will be around for the weekend. This will make the temperatures feel colder, especially on any exposed parts of your body, like your head if you forget your hat. Winter coats, gloves, hats and scarves will be needed for quite some time. For all those who were wondering if more seasonal temperatures would ever be coming, you get your wish answered.

Temperatures will be trending below average for both the daytime highs and the morning lows until the middle of the month.

In terms of precipitation, after the soaking showers of Thursday, drier conditions will prevail into the middle of this upcoming work week.
