To help raise the number of vaccinated people in Connecticut, a vaccine clinic in Shelton offered incentives Thursday.
Those who got vaccinated could've win a $250 gift card to Walmart, Dzen Garden Market or Stone Garden Farms.
The clinic is being run by ConnectiCare, and Griffin Hospital is supplying the vaccines.
Appointments were encouraged, but walk-ins were accepted based on availability.
Visitors could choose either Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson.
If given the Pfizer vaccine, an appointment will be made three weeks later for the second dose.
The Pfizer vaccine is approved for those 12 years old and up. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is approved for those 18 years old and up.
The vaccine clinic is located on 876 Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton.
To schedule an appointment, call ConnectiCare centers at (877) 523-6837.
