Police issued a Silver Alert for William Palmer, a 58-year-old resident of the Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Facility in East Northport.
Palmer had been last seen at the Northport Long Island Rail Road station around 2 p.m. Sunday, according to police. They thought he hopped on a train headed west.
Just before 1:30 p.m., Suffolk police provided an update, saying Palmer was found.
