STORM WATCH: Rain and snow early Thursday with a bitter blast for Friday
There may be rain and snow early on Thursday, but there will be a bitter blast on Friday.
Wednesday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy - breezy and mild - with highs in the low-40s.
Thursday will be in the 30s to start. There will be a period of rain/wet snow through around 9 a.m., mostly south of I-287. A coating to an inch or so of slushy wet snow is possible. There will be some slippery conditions early Thursday in areas that see these snow showers. Temperatures turn colder midday with sun and clouds. Lows will be around 11 degrees Thursday night.
Friday will be mainly sunny and very cold again with highs around 22 degrees and lows near 13.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny and cold with highs around 28. Lows around 18.
SUNDAY: The “second wave” now looks more impacting and farther north – and could bring us some snow or a mix. Highs around 32.
