Flurries expected in NYC for Wednesday, chance of showers Friday
UPDATE: Due to the possibility of snow in Wednesday’s forecast, the New York City Department of Sanitation has issued a Winter Operations Advisory starting at 6 a.m.
News 12 meteorologists say flurries could be expected in New York City for Wednesday afternoon.
WEDNESDAY: A cold day and a chance of snow flurries, snow showers and rain showers. Little to no accumulation, highs from the upper-30s to the low-40s.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Clearing late and turning very cold. Lows from the upper-20s to the low-30s.
THURSDAY: Increasing clouds, highs from the upper-30s to the low-40s.
FRIDAY: Cloudy with a slight chance of showers, highs from the mid- to upper-40s.
SATURDAY: Clouds and showers, breezy and mild, highs from the upper-50s to the low-60s.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Periods of rain with gusty winds, lows from the upper-40s to the low-50s.
SUNDAY: Morning showers, partial afternoon clearing. Highs from the upper-40s to the low-50s. Cold and mostly clear at night.
