News 12 had the chance to speak with the head of MGM after months of asking what's in store for the Empire City Casino.
Chairman and CEO Jim Murren, who was in Westchester Thursday, said while he can't share specifics yet, they do plan on bringing in live entertainment and sports.

He says they hope to obtain a full commercial gaming license so they can hire live dealers to replace the casino's electronic table games.
State law currently prohibits the New York City metropolitan area from having full-scale gaming until 2023.
When asked if the horse track was staying, he said yes.
