Here’s what you need to know:

It's a cool, calm and cloudy start to the day. Temperatures are in the mid-60s.
Today will be brighter with lighter winds and warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
The latest drought monitor comes out this morning with little to no changes expected due to the recent lack of rainfall. Drought conditions are expected to worsen if this dry pattern continues. The Fall foliage period and vibrant colors will likely be impacted. Stay tuned for updates.

Friday will be even warm again with highs in the low 80s. A cold front will pass through the city Friday evening knocking temperatures to the low 70s this weekend.
