STORM WATCH: Scattered showers heading for Connecticut, flash flooding possible

Rain will be drenching Connecticut late Thursday into Friday and could cause flash flooding.
Thursday will be cloudy and humid with showers that will develop into steadier rain later in the afternoon. The rain will continue through the night with scattered thunderstorms also possible.
Friday will be seeing rain and storms in the morning before they dissipate by the afternoon.
The weekend will be much more pleasant with comfortable temperatures in the low-70s and some sunshine.
THURSDAY: Cloudy, humid with showers, developing into a steadier rain later in the afternoon. Rain at night, heavy at times with scattered thunderstorms also possible. High of 78.
FRIDAY: Morning rain and storms ending by noon with cloudy skies in the afternoon. High of 73.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. High of 72.
SUNDAY: A mix of clouds and sun but pleasant. High of 71.
