Sunny and chilly for Friday, but weekend looks soggy

News 12 meteorologists are counting down to spring and say Friday will be sunny and chilly, but the weekend is looking soggy.
Friday will have sunshine with a light wind, and highs around 43.
Saturday morning will start off cold and damp. The cold rain moves in during the early morning hours, with a brief mixing possible in the northern counties. Everything quickly changes over to a light to moderate rainfall lasting through the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the mid-40s. Conditions will dry up Saturday night into early Sunday, but then more rain in the forecast for Sunday evening.
Sunday will start off with increasing clouds and a few showers during the afternoon. Showers will move into the area for the evening. Showers are likely to linger through the overnight, with highs near 45-50 degrees.
There will be a few pre-dawn sprinkles Monday followed by a mainly cloudy afternoon. Highs will top out around 45 degrees.
Tuesday will see mainly sunny skies with high temperatures near 39.
Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid-40s.
There is a slight chance for evening sprinkles on Thursday.
